We get many phone calls each day and people ask "Do you buy sports cards?"
The Short answer is YES.
The Long answer is more complicated. We are always looking to buy autographs, memorabilia cards and inserts. We will even buy commons from the last 5-10 years in any sport. We also love to buy vintage cards from the '50s, '60s and early '70s.
We have a hard time buying cards from the 80's and 90's. These cards are from what is called the "Overproduction Era" and were so mass overproduced that only about 2% of these cards have any resell value to us.
HERE ARE 3 WAYS TO SELL CARDS AT THE ROOKIE:
1. If you want to sell directly to us negotiate a fair price that works for both of us. This can be done between 12-6 p.m. M-F. If you can't come in at those times please call the shop at (515) 255-4675 to set up an appointment. We only buy/trade Pokemon cards on Friday from 11-3 p.m.

3. Consign your cards to sell on eBay.
