I am joined in this wonderful venture by my wife Laura and my two boys Adin and Alex.  You will find the whole family here often.  (often Alex is parked in front of the candy machine).  We have the backroom set up for children fo feel free to let your children play back there while you shop. 

I have been an avid baseball card collector since early childhood.  I am thrilled to turn my passion into my career. 

The Rookie is located at 7222 University Avenue in Des Moines. We are in the Apple Valley Shopping Center just north of Sam's Club and right across from Hy-Vee. If your kids don't like to go shopping with you, drop them off at The Rookie. They will be safe and we will treat them with the utmost courtesy and respect.
